Leeds United Secure 2-0 Victory Over Norwich to Reclaim Top Spot

Leeds United climbed back to the top of the Sky Bet Championship with a 2-0 win over Norwich City at Elland Road on Wednesday night. Goals from Manor Solomon and Dan James ensured Daniel Farke’s side moved above Sheffield United in the standings.

Solomon, on loan from Tottenham, netted the fastest goal of the Championship season, scoring just 31 seconds into the match against a Norwich side struggling with injuries. James added a second in the second half, securing Leeds’ 12th home league win of the campaign.

Farke remains unbeaten in six encounters against his former club, with Leeds extending their unbeaten streak across all competitions to 11 matches. This victory sees them leapfrog Sheffield United by a single point.

Solomon had also opened the scoring in Leeds’ previous match, a home win against local rivals Sheffield Wednesday. Against Norwich, he finished off a swift attacking move, converting James’ precise low cross into the net.
