Bills Post 2-Word Statement After Latest Roster Change

Bills Send 2-Word Message After Recent Roster Move The Buffalo Bills experienced disappointment in the AFC Championship, losing 32-29 to the Kansas City Chiefs, who were then defeated 40-22 by the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl.

Just over two weeks after the defeat, the Bills have already begun shaping their 2025 roster. On Wednesday afternoon, the team announced they had re-signed offensive lineman Alec Anderson.

“Less than a month after the season, the Bills have already started work on their 2025 roster. Alec Anderson, offensive lineman, has signed a one-year deal with Buffalo,” the team stated on their website Wednesday morning.

The Bills ended the 2024 season with the lowest sack total in the league, allowing only 14 sacks all year. Though Anderson wasn’t a starter, he saw the most snaps of any backup offensive lineman, participating in all 17 regular-season games and making four starts.

By the end of the season, the third-year lineman played in 27% of the team’s offensive snaps. To mark the move, the Bills posted a two-word message for Anderson on social media.

“He’s back!” the team wrote on social media Wednesday morning.

Buffalo led the league in fewest sacks allowed and turnovers in 2024, a testament to their strong offensive line.

Heading into the 2025 offseason, quarterback Josh Allen can be confident that at least one key piece of his offensive line will remain in place.
