LeBron James Shares Update One Day After Surprising NBA All-Star Game Withdrawal in New Video

LeBron James, the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, stunned the basketball world just before Sunday’s highly anticipated NBA All-Star Game by announcing he would not be participating due to multiple injuries.

His decision sparked some criticism, with many arguing that he should have given earlier notice to allow the NBA time to find a replacement. Instead, Shaq’s OGs played one player short in the All-Star Game, but it didn’t matter much as ASG MVP Steph Curry led Team Shaq to victory in front of a packed Chase Center crowd.

On Monday, James posted a new video on Instagram, showing what he has been up to since his unexpected withdrawal from the All-Star Game. It turns out, he has been focusing on his workouts and spending quality time with his daughter, Zhuri.

James missed the game due to issues with his left foot and ankle, injuries that had kept him on the Lakers’ injury report leading up to All-Star Weekend, though he had only missed one game since early January. The Lakers are set to play the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday, and it remains uncertain if James will be able to play.
