Sitake’s squad amazed the nation in 2024 with a 10-0 start and a climb into the Top 10, despite being expected to finish near the bottom of the Big 12. Although back-to-back losses to Kansas and Arizona State ended their hopes of making the inaugural 12-team college football playoff, the Cougars still had an impressive season.
They concluded the year with a dominant 36-14 victory over Colorado in the Alamo Bowl.
