Chelsea 4–0 Southampton: Player Ratings as Blues Thrive in a One-Sided Premier League Victory

Chelsea demolished Southampton for their second win of February and their first clean sheet since January 11.

Chelsea triumphed over Southampton, securing just their second victory across all competitions in February as they aim for a Champions League spot.

Christopher Nkunku opened the scoring after 24 minutes, followed by goals from Pedro Neto and Levi Colwill. The Blues went into halftime with a three-goal lead and added a fourth in the second half courtesy of Marc Cucurella.

Enzo Maresca will be pleased with his team’s attacking display, but also the clean sheet, which marked their first in February. It was also Chelsea’s first shutout since January 11 when they defeated Morecambe in the FA Cup.

The win brings Chelsea to 46 points, two ahead of Manchester City before Pep Guardiola’s side faces Tottenham Hotspur this week.
