Mindy Kaling’s latest sports comedy with Netflix and Warner Bros. Entertainment is gaining attention at Pepperdine University.
The new 10-episode TV series, “Running Point,” centers on Isla Gordon (Kate Hudson), a woman who takes on the role of president for a professional basketball team called the Los Angeles Waves. Kaling, Hudson, and Los Angeles Lakers president Jeanie Buss are executive producers of the show. The series debuted on Netflix on Thursday.
