Jamie Foxx blasts lack of respect for LeBron James, claims Lakers icon has been carrying the NBA.

There’s a solid case that Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James doesn’t receive enough credit for everything he’s accomplished throughout his NBA career, which has spanned over 20 years.

Since entering the league, James has carried massive expectations. However, many people prefer to focus on his career shortcomings rather than appreciate his incredible achievements.

American actor and comedian Jamie Foxx appears to be among those who feel James is underappreciated. In several Instagram comments, Foxx criticized people for being “ungrateful” and claimed that the league’s oldest active player has been “carrying this bum a– league.”

When discussing James, the narrative often revolves around what he hasn’t done instead of what he has. The four-time NBA champion has won titles with three different teams while earning countless individual awards.

James’ longevity is something the league may never witness again. Now in his 22nd season, he’s tied with former star Vince Carter for the most seasons played in NBA history.

Simply being in the NBA at 40 years old is a remarkable achievement. However, James isn’t just playing — he’s still dominating. This season, he’s averaging 24.9 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 8.6 assists per game, proving he remains one of the league’s elite players.

James was arguably the best player on the court in the Lakers’ recent win against the Los Angeles Clippers on Feb. 28, finishing with 28 points, 13 rebounds, and three assists in the four-point victory.

The Lakers secured their fifth consecutive win and are closing in on the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference. They currently sit just one game behind the Denver Nuggets, who are led by Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray, with Denver’s matchup against the Boston Celtics still pending.
