Luka Doncic Briefly Exits Lakers-Clippers Game with Injury Concern

On Friday, Luka Doncic dominated the LA Clippers, leading the Los Angeles Lakers to a significant victory over their city rivals by scoring a game-high 31 points. At 25, Doncic is already one of the top players of the new generation, earning five All-NBA First Team selections and consistently finishing in the top ten in MVP voting since his second season.

Despite playing only his eighth game as a Laker on Sunday night, Doncic is already considered the future of LA. The Lakers faced the Clippers for the second time in three nights, and Doncic maintained his strong performance from Friday. He scored 12 points on 4-5 shooting in the first quarter, but his night was nearly cut short due to a leg injury.

Doncic briefly exited the game but returned with 6:24 left in the second quarter. However, his hot streak cooled off, as he missed all three of his field goal attempts in the second quarter, ending the half scoreless with one rebound.

Having already missed four games since joining the Lakers, Doncic’s health remains the top priority for LA as they rely on him and LeBron James to continue their winning streak.
