Kelly Stafford excited to remain in L.A.

Matthew Stafford is staying with the Los Angeles Rams, and Kelly seems thrilled that they are remaining in “home” territory. You can read her comments below, but Stafford staying appears to be a win for the quarterback, the team, and his family.

Fans can now relax as L.A. figures out the rest of their offseason plans, aiming to improve on last year’s performance.

Please feel free to comment on anything, and thank you for checking out Turf Show Times. Have a great Tuesday!

This news came a few weeks after Kelly voiced her frustrations with the Rams organization on her “The Morning After” podcast, in response to a report claiming the team was considering trading wide receiver Cooper Kupp.

“Sean McVay, head coach of the Los Angeles Rams, left open the possibility that Cooper Kupp could stay with the team in 2025. When asked about Kupp’s future with the Rams, McVay told reporters, ‘I would never speak in absolutes,’ as reported by Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times.

On February 3rd, Kupp publicly revealed on social media that the Rams had told him they were actively exploring trade options.”

“Things can change quickly in the NFL, as shown by the Los Angeles Rams’ busy Friday. Not only did they secure a deal to keep Matthew Stafford as their quarterback, but they also agreed to a three-year extension with left tackle Alaric Jackson.

These were two of the Rams’ biggest offseason priorities, and they managed to check both off in one hectic day. Meanwhile, the NFL combine was happening in Indianapolis, where top draft prospects showcased their skills in front of coaches, scouts, and general managers.”
