Amon-Ra St. Brown May Surpass NFL Icon Jerry Rice by 2025

Amon-Ra St. Brown, set to begin his fifth season in the NFL with the Detroit Lions, has a genuine opportunity to outpace one of the all-time great wide receivers—Jerry Rice—when it comes to receiving yards after five seasons.

With 4,851 receiving yards to date, St. Brown needs only 1,513 more yards to surpass Rice, who totaled 6,364 yards in his first five seasons.

Although St. Brown still has much to achieve, his steady performance in the initial seasons indicates he’s a formidable competitor.

Surpassing a legend like Rice will be challenging, yet St. Brown’s history suggests potential. In 2023, St. Brown achieved 1,515 yards, and in 2024, he accumulated 1,263 yards.

Should he maintain this momentum and have another successful season in 2025, he will stand a credible opportunity to enter the upper echelon of NFL receiving records.
