The Boston Celtics defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 123–105 on Thursday night. Jayson Tatum led the way with 35 points on 23 shots in 31 minutes, helping Boston secure their third consecutive victory. Their next matchup is Saturday night against the red-hot Los Angeles Lakers on ABC.

During a postgame interview on TNT, Tatum hyped up the highly anticipated game, which amused the Turner Sports commentators who were covering the Celtics-Sixers game.

To be fair, Jared Greenberg asked Tatum about the upcoming game, but Tatum’s response sounded more like a commercial than a simple answer.

“It’s gonna be a fun one, man,” Tatum said. “ABC. Celtics versus Lakers. It’s what the fans want to see.”

Greenberg and Kevin Harlan’s reactions were priceless as Tatum apologized and walked away to the locker room. Let’s hope Colin Cowherd doesn’t catch wind of this moment.
