Buffalo Bills NFL

The Buffalo Bills have secured WR Joshua Palmer through NFL free agency.

The Buffalo Bills made a significant move early in NFL free agency by signing wide receiver Joshua Palmer, formerly of the LA Chargers. The 3-year deal is worth $36 million, with $18 million guaranteed, according to Ian Rapoport and agent Adisa Bakari of The Sports and Entertainment Group.

Palmer, a third-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft by the Chargers, has posted 182 receptions, 2,287 yards, and 10 touchdowns over his first four seasons. This move comes after the Chargers selected wide receivers Ladd McConkey and Quentin Johnston in recent drafts. Despite that, Palmer remained a key contributor in the Chargers’ offense.

Before entering the NFL, Palmer played four seasons at Tennessee, where he totaled 99 receptions, 1,514 yards, and seven touchdowns.

This is a major acquisition for the Bills as they add another weapon for quarterback Josh Allen, who recently signed a record-breaking extension. Palmer will join 2024 NFL draft pick Keon Coleman as key targets for Allen in Buffalo.
