Kevin Zeitler to join Titans after spending one season with the Lions.

Offensive guard Kevin Zeitler, who joined the Detroit Lions on a one-year deal ahead of the 2024 season, is moving to the Tennessee Titans on a one-year, $9 million contract, according to multiple reports.

Looking ahead, 2024 sixth-round pick Christian Mahogany is expected to be next on the depth chart. Mahogany started two games, including the Divisional Round loss to Washington, during his rookie season.

Zeitler played 16 games last season for the Lions, though he missed the Divisional Round against Washington due to an injury sustained in the regular season finale. In 2024, Zeitler posted an impressive PFF overall offensive grade of 86.8, excelling as a run blocker with an 87.2 grade in that area.

Throughout his career, Zeitler has been known for his durability, having played at least 12 games in each of his 13 NFL seasons. He has also made at least 15 starts every season since 2015.

The veteran lineman has previously played for four NFL teams. He entered the league as a first-round pick by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2012 NFL Draft, spending five seasons with them before joining the Cleveland Browns in 2017.

After two years in Cleveland, Zeitler was traded to the New York Giants for Olivier Vernon. He was released after two seasons and went on to sign with the Baltimore Ravens in 2021. After three seasons in Baltimore, Zeitler joined the Lions ahead of the 2024 season.
