Philadelphia Eagles

Philadelphia Eagles reportedly adding CB Adoree’ Jackson to roster.

Multiple reports indicate that the Philadelphia Eagles are signing former Titans and Giants cornerback Adoree’ Jackson.

Jackson, 29, was selected by the Titans in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft (18th overall). He spent his first four seasons in Tennessee before playing the last four with the Giants. Over his eight-year career, Jackson has played in 97 games, starting in 82 of them.

Despite his extensive experience, Jackson has only recorded four career interceptions. However, one of those was a pick-six against Jalen Hurts during the 2023 season.

With the departures of Darius Slay and Isaiah Rodgers, the Eagles needed to add depth at the cornerback position. Jackson brings veteran experience and could challenge Kelee Ringo for the third starting cornerback spot. The Eagles’ updated cornerback depth chart now appears as follows:

The financial terms of Jackson’s deal have not yet been disclosed. However, given that he earned just $1.75 million on a one-year contract with the Giants last season, his contract with the Eagles is expected to be a low-cost deal that will not impact the compensatory pick

formula.
