Jahmyr Gibbs solidified his role as a crucial piece of the Detroit Lions’ offense during an unforgettable second NFL season. The former Georgia Tech and Alabama standout tallied 1,412 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns, adding 517 receiving yards on 52 catches with four additional scores.
His stellar performance earned the 22-year-old his second straight Pro Bowl selection, playing a vital role in Detroit’s playoff run to the Divisional Round after finishing with an NFC-best 15-2 record, tying the two-time reigning champion Kansas City Chiefs.
Supporting him throughout his remarkable season was Gibbs’ girlfriend, Nicole Anderson, who was a frequent presence at Lions games all year long.
On Sunday, Gibbs and Anderson celebrated a major relationship milestone, marking their second anniversary together. The Lions running back shared a heartfelt Instagram post dedicated to his girlfriend on their special day.
“730 days strong. I love you my girl ,” Gibbs wrote, posting a collage of cherished moments with Anderson.
Anderson replied with a loving message of her own, sharing a sunset beach photo of them together.
“Happy anniversary. To more years with you ,” she wrote.
In past posts, Anderson revealed highlights from what appeared to be a celebratory getaway to Hawaii. The couple is clearly making the most of their romantic trip to the iconic vacation destination.
