Joe Burrow, Jared Goff, and Kirk Cousins Set to Star in Netflix’s Quarterback Season 2

Netflix is once again spotlighting the NFL’s most crucial position with an in-depth look at some of the league’s top quarterbacks.

Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow, Detroit Lions signal-caller Jared Goff, and Atlanta Falcons veteran Kirk Cousins will be featured in the second season of Quarterback, Netflix announced Wednesday.

The upcoming season, produced by NFL Films and Omaha Productions, is set to debut this July.

The docuseries, which originally premiered in summer 2023, featured Patrick Mahomes, Marcus Mariota, and Cousins in its first season. It provided fans with exclusive access to the players’ lives on and off the field, including in-depth interviews, mic’d-up game moments, and behind-the-scenes content.

Season 2 will take a deep dive into Burrow’s remarkable 2024 season, during which he led the league in passing yards and touchdowns, ultimately earning the AP Comeback Player of the Year award.

Goff’s feature will offer a unique perspective on Detroit’s rise to prominence as the NFC’s top seed and the abrupt end to their once-promising season with a crushing wild-card round defeat.

Returning to the series, Cousins’ transition to Atlanta is expected to provide an insightful look into the challenges he faced as the league’s highest-paid free agent. With lofty expectations in a new city, he ultimately lost his starting job to rookie Michael Penix Jr.

Netflix continues to evolve the docuseries by revisiting a familiar face while adding two new star quarterbacks for 2025.
