Cooper Flagg Delivers Short Message Before Duke’s Elite Eight Game

Cooper Flagg Delivers Three-Word Statement Before Duke’s Elite Eight Matchup

Duke and Alabama are set to clash in the Elite Eight after both teams secured victories in the NCAA Tournament.

Duke advanced to the Elite Eight after defeating Arizona, Baylor, and Mount St. Mary’s, while Alabama triumphed over BYU, Saint Mary’s, and Robert Morris.

Following Duke’s win over Arizona, freshman Cooper Flagg spoke to the media.

He was joined at the press conference by teammates Kon Knueppel, Sion James, Tyrese Proctor, and Khaman Maluach.

Each player was asked to reflect on what their upcoming game against Alabama would involve.

After Proctor and others suggested the matchup would be a “war,” Flagg offered a brief reply.

“Nothing to add,” Flagg said.

Flagg has been one of the top players in the nation this season, in his first year with Duke. He is currently a finalist for the Naismith Player of the Year award, given to the best player in the country.

The other finalists for the award are Johni Broome of Auburn, Braden Smith of Purdue, and Flagg.

Throughout his freshman season at Duke, Flagg has averaged 19.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game. He also leads the team with 1.3 blocks and 1.4 steals per game.
