Four-Star Defensive Lineman Commits to Clemson, Strengthening Tigers’ 2026 Recruiting Class

Four-Star DL Picks Clemson Over Top Rivals, Strengthening Tigers’ 2026 Class

In a significant boost to Clemson’s 2026 recruiting efforts, four-star defensive lineman Kameron Cody from Savannah, Georgia, has pledged his commitment to the Tigers. The 6-foot-3, 280-pound prospect from Benedictine Military School selected Clemson over top-tier programs such as LSU, Tennessee, Arizona State, and Georgia Tech.

Cody’s recruitment gained momentum earlier this year when Clemson extended an offer following an in-home visit from Tigers defensive tackles coach Nick Eason. This visit played a crucial role in solidifying Cody’s interest in the school. On social media, Cody shared his excitement, stating, “After an incredible home visit with @CoachEason1, I am thankful to announce that I have received an offer from Clemson University.”

During his junior season at Benedictine, Cody proved to be a dominant force on the field. He totaled 75 tackles, nine tackles for loss, and 6.5 sacks, earning recognition as one of the top defensive linemen in the 2026 class. His strong performance placed him as the 53rd-ranked defensive lineman nationally and the 41st-ranked player in Georgia.

Cody’s commitment to Clemson further strengthens the Tigers’ growing reputation for recruiting elite talent from Georgia. The program has firmly established itself as a prominent player in the Peach State, a vital recruiting area. With his combination of size, power, and agility, Cody is expected to make a significant impact on Clemson’s defensive line, advancing the team’s aspirations for national championships. Fans and analysts will eagerly follow his progress at one of the country’s premier football programs.
