Kentucky

Mouhamed Dioubate and Kam Williams have officially joined the Kentucky team.

Officially suited up in Kentucky blue.

The Kentucky Wildcats have formally added two of their incoming transfers.

On Wednesday, On3’s Pete Nakos shared that the Wildcats had signed Alabama transfer forward Mouhamed Dioubate.

Later, Nakos also reported that Kentucky had inked Tulane transfer guard Kam Williams. That brings the total to two of Kentucky’s four transfers officially on board.

Dioubate, weighing 215 pounds, will be a junior with two years of eligibility left. Last season, he posted 7.2 points on 61.7% shooting (46.2% from three on 0.7 attempts), 5.9 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 16 minutes a game.

Williams, a 6-foot-8, 190-pound guard, wrapped up his lone year at Tulane with 9.3 points, 4.5 boards, 1.3 assists, and 1.1 blocks per game while shooting 41.2% from three on 4.6 attempts. He’ll be a sophomore with three years left, though his NBA upside could shorten his college stay.

Kentucky is still waiting on official paperwork from Arizona State forward Jayden Quaintance and Pittsburgh point guard Jaland Lowe, expected very soon.
