Texas Tech announces changes to women’s basketball staff.
Krista Gerlich announced Saturday several changes to her staff for the 2025-26 season.
Texas Tech head coach Krista Gerlich announced Saturday the departure of associate coaches Ashley Odom and Plenette Pierson from the Lady Raider Basketball staff.
In addition, Jordan Vessels and Mitch Vanya will be reassigned to their previous full-time duties as Director of Operations and Director of Video and Scouting Operations, respectively. All four staff decisions are effective immediately.
“We appreciate the time and effort Coach Odom and Coach Pierson put into this program and we wish them the best moving forward,” Gerlich said. “No one has a better appreciation for the high standards set for this program, and we will work tirelessly to put together a staff that will help us return Lady Raider Basketball back to prominence.”
Texas Tech concluded the 2024-25 season at 19-18 overall after falling to Florida in the quarterfinal round of the Women’s Basketball Invitation Tournament.
