AJ Dybantsa, BYU’s $7M recruit, embarrasses defender with savage dribble move

BYU’s $7M signee AJ Dybantsa humiliates defender with slick dribble move

AJ Dybantsa holds the top recruit ranking in the nation for good reason.

He gave fans yet another example Friday night during the Jordan Brand Classic.

Worth noting: The future BYU star had already thrown down a thunderous windmill dunk earlier in the game.

But this next move stole the show.

With $7 million in reported NIL deals tied to his BYU commitment, Dybantsa put his skills on full display.

He lined up his defender, crossed the ball through his legs, then slid it right between his opponent’s legs.

Dybantsa chased it down, then finished the sequence with a tough reverse layup at the rim.

Seriously, just watch this:

Sure, it’s an exhibition-style game, which might encourage flashier plays than a regular-season contest.

Still, having the nerve to even attempt this — and the talent to pull it off — sets Dybantsa apart.

He has every tool in the game, including creativity most players wouldn’t dare try under pressure.

Whether or not he’s worth $7 million is beside the point. College hoops will be must-watch next season with Dybantsa putting on a show every night.
