Terrion Arnold’s Touching Reaction to Jalen Milroe Being Drafted

Terrion Arnold got emotional watching his former Alabama teammate Jalen Milroe get selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the third round.

Jalen Milroe was a favorite among teammates during his four seasons at Alabama. A shining example of that bond came from former Crimson Tide cornerback – and 2024 first-round Detroit Lions pick – Terrion Arnold, who reacted when Milroe was drafted on Friday night.

Milroe had to endure a long wait. Some projected he could sneak into the first round. Many believed he would be picked in the second. Instead, he slipped until late in the third round, where the Seattle Seahawks ended his fall by picking him 92nd overall.

Few were as thrilled as Arnold to see Milroe finally achieve his dream:

Arnold had just started an interview with ESPN Radio when Milroe’s name was called. Overcome with excitement, Arnold couldn’t finish the segment. He had to step away to call Milroe and celebrate. The show hosts didn’t mind—it made for an unforgettable moment and a viral clip.

Arnold and Milroe were teammates for three years in Tuscaloosa. Together, they helped rally Alabama’s 2023 squad around the “LANK” mantra after an early loss to Texas. Alabama bounced back, winning 11 straight games to capture the SEC title and earn a College Football Playoff berth.

Terrion Arnold traveled to Green Bay for Day 2 of the NFL Draft and made memories. He witnessed his close friend get drafted by Seattle and earlier even announced one of Detroit’s picks. True to form, Arnold couldn’t resist taunting the Green Bay Packers fans at the event:

Arnold made sure to throw a playful jab at the Packers. Detroit and Green Bay were neck and neck for the NFC North crown last season until the Lions defeated the Packers in Week 18 to clinch the NFC’s top playoff seed.
