Top-3 College Basketball Prospect Delivers Strong Message to Duke Commit

The incoming class of college basketball freshmen has been turning heads following the conclusion of the 2024-25 season.

Attention is now focused on the standout newcomers ready to make their mark, including AJ Dybantsa, Darryn Peterson, and Cameron Boozer.

Ranked as the No. 3 player nationally, Cameron Boozer is set to join the Duke Blue Devils alongside his brother, four-star recruit Cayden Boozer, and five-star talent Nikolas Khamenia.

On Sunday, Khamenia posted several photos on social media, accompanied by an inspiring caption.

“I had a purpose before anyone else had an opinion,” Khamenia wrote.

Cameron Boozer quickly replied to Khamenia’s post, showing appreciation for his future teammate at Duke.

“W caption,” Boozer responded.

In the 2025 recruiting rankings, Boozer sits just behind Dybantsa and Peterson at No. 3, while Khamenia holds the No. 15 spot and Cayden Boozer ranks No. 24, according to 247Sports.

The trio will be joining one of the top college basketball programs in the nation, led by head coach Jon Scheyer.

Last season, Duke wrapped up their campaign with an impressive 35-4 record, advancing to the Final Four before being eliminated by Houston.

The team’s success was fueled by a freshman trio made up of Cooper Flagg, Kon Knueppel, and Khaman Maluach.

Although it’s uncertain if the Boozers and Khamenia will have a similar influence, Scheyer can expect immediate contributions from Duke’s highly ranked incoming class.
