Pistons GM Trajan Langdon Shares Message with Fans After Unforgettable 2024-25 Campaign
Detroit Pistons general manager Trajan Langdon shared a heartfelt message with fans this week, capping off a season that marked a dramatic leap forward for the franchise. In a social media post, Langdon thanked the fanbase for their unwavering passion and for filling Little Caesars Arena throughout the year.
“THANK YOU to all Pistons fans that supported this team throughout the season! Your energy and passion was amazing,” Langdon wrote. “This season was incredible and one that I certainly will never forget. I look forward to seeing LCA packed and rocking again next season. DEEEETROIT BASKETBALL.”
Detroit ended the 2024-25 campaign with 44 wins—more than three times their total from last year—marking one of the biggest year-over-year improvements in NBA history. They challenged the New York Knicks in a competitive six-game series in the opening round of the playoffs.
Cade Cunningham’s rise as a bona fide star fueled much of Detroit’s success. He posted averages of 25 points, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists per game against the Knicks, earning praise for his poise, scoring ability, and command of the game.
Though the Pistons came up just short in Game 6, falling 116-113, the season was seen as a breakthrough and a clear sign of a bright future ahead.
Now in the offseason, Langdon and the front office are expected to be aggressive in building on this year’s momentum. With cap space, a strong young core, and rising excitement, the team is well-positioned for continued growth.
For Langdon, fan support remains a driving force. And based on what the 2024-25 season showed, Little Caesars Arena should be roaring again in no time.
