Christen Harper Goff, wife of Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff, has shared exciting personal news.

The Detroit Lions are currently in the offseason, and Dan Campbell and his staff are hard at work preparing for another winning campaign, one they hope won’t end prematurely. But for quarterback Jared Goff, this time isn’t just about football. He and his wife, Christen Harper Goff, are expecting their first child, making this an especially joyful period.

Harper Goff is a well-known Sports Illustrated model, having appeared in the magazine numerous times and becoming a seasoned veteran. Even while pregnant, Harper Goff didn’t let that stop her from stepping in front of the camera for the publication’s latest shoot.

On Tuesday, May 13, she shared photos on social media from her most recent Sports Illustrated shoot, taken while she was expecting. She reflected on the impact of pregnancy and expressed deep appreciation for the journey.

Swimsuit during the most special time of my life was such an honor,” she wrote alongside a gallery of images. “Pregnancy has been incredibly beautiful and transformative. I’ve never felt more empowered, purposeful, or full of love. These photos are a forever treasure from such a meaningful chapter.”

Her followers flooded the comments with support. “You’ve always been beautiful inside and out. So thrilled for you,” one person said. Another added, “We’re lucky to have you as Mrs. Detroit.”

In another post, Harper Goff revealed that they are expecting a baby girl.

During the Sunday, May 11 episode of the “Sunday Sports Club” podcast, she opened up about her Sports Illustrated experience while pregnant.

“I actually shot Sports Illustrated this year at 18 weeks pregnant,” she shared. “It was this odd time—I couldn’t suck in my stomach, but also didn’t have a clear baby bump to show.”

She explained, “I was bulking up for the shoot—it was wild. It’s going to be fun to look back, knowing she was in there.” She said it was the hardest shoot due to being in transition, not fully feeling like herself yet.

Harper Goff also joked about missing out on margaritas during the shoot. What’s a girl to do?

“No margaritas, and I’m in a bikini,” she said with a laugh. “It was such a strange in-between time—early on, when you’re just learning your body and watching it change.”

The couple originally announced the pregnancy in February, during their appearance at the 2025 NFL Honors in New Orleans.
