Detroit Lions

Jordan Love tasked with helping the NFL overcome its latest Thanksgiving nemesis.

This comes after a report that the two rivals will clash at Lambeau Field in Week 1. The NFL is setting aside a prime-time slot for this NFC North matchup, and more significantly, the league is placing its faith in Jordan Love to bring excitement back to Thanksgiving.

Fear not. Holiday-hero Jordan Love is ready to tackle the NFC North’s biggest threat.

Detroit has parted ways with both its coordinators, Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn, and surprisingly hasn’t added much help for Aidan Hutchinson in the pass rush. A shaky offseason has left the door open for the rest of the division to challenge the Lions—so why not Green Bay and Love?

Love has shown up when it matters most. His lone Thanksgiving appearance says it all: 268 passing yards, three touchdowns, and a dominant 29-22 win over Detroit that felt more lopsided than the score suggests.

He opened that game by hitting Christian Watson on a 53-yard bomb, instantly setting the mood.

This year promises more excitement. To take back the NFC North, Green Bay must go through Detroit—and the NFL has handed them two prime-time chances.

Jordan Love is ready to reclaim Thanksgiving.
