Jared Goff and his wife, Christen Harper, recently held a baby shower at her parents’ house. Harper, a model, posted snapshots of the special day on Instagram.

The event was intimate yet stylish, taking place in the backyard. Since they are expecting a girl, the entire shower followed a pink color scheme—everything from the decorations and flowers to many of the treats matched the theme.

Goff kept it casual in a grey hoodie and jeans, while Harper chose a floral maxi dress with a slit on the side. The shower came shortly after Harper appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, proudly displaying her baby bump in a variety of swimsuits.

The“Backyard shower at my parents for baby girl!” Harper wrote on Instagram, offering fans a peek into the charming baby shower hosted by her family at their home.

Jared Goff, quarterback for the Detroit Lions, met Harper on the dating app Raya. The couple got engaged in 2022, tied the knot in June last year, and are now preparing to welcome their first child.

With fatherhood on the horizon, the next NFL season is set to carry even more weight for Goff. He joined the Lions in 2021 after playing for the Los Angeles Rams from 2016 to 2020. Goff entered the NFL as the first overall pick in the 2016 draft and played college football for the California Golden Bears.

In the meantime, Goff and the Detroit Lions are preparing for the upcoming season, with the league having released the full schedule. A major highlight is expected to be the October 12 showdown between the Lions and the Kansas City Chiefs.

In previous meetings with the Chiefs while playing for Detroit, Goff has come out on top. As he looks forward to maintaining that streak, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes will aim to change the outcome in their favor.

Detroit is set to begin their regular season facing the Green Bay Packers. Leading up to that, the team will play three preseason games against the Chargers, Falcons, and Texans.
