Lions Officially Sign Top Draft Pick Tyleik Williams

The team revealed the signing of defensive lineman Tyleik Williams on Wednesday afternoon. Williams was selected 28th overall in April’s draft.

The four-year contract for Williams is valued at more than $16.48 million. The Lions also hold a team option to add a fifth year to the agreement.

Williams played the past four seasons at Ohio State, starting in each of the last two. He posted 46 total tackles, eight tackles for loss, and 2.5 sacks during the Buckeyes’ 2024 national championship season.

With this move, the Lions have now signed six of their seven draftees. Second-round offensive guard Tate Ratledge is the lone remaining unsigned pick.
