Kelly Stafford opened up about the cosmetic procedures she’s undergone after a decade of marriage and giving birth to four daughters.
Stafford, 35, who is married to Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, invited her plastic surgeon, Dr. Garth Fisher, to join the Monday, May 27
Looking back on the surgery Dr. Fisher performed, Kelly referred to it as “kind of a mommy makeover.”
“I had my breasts redone, and you also did the tummy tuck,” Kelly shared. “And you reconstructed my butt.”
Kelly also mentioned that she had breast implants long before the most recent procedures.
“I can’t even recall the year,” she admitted.
Post-surgery, Kelly said she felt “amazing” and “really confident,” but acknowledged she had some basic curiosities beforehand.
“Most people in California know what a tummy tuck is, but when I heard it, I thought, ‘That’s liposuction, right?’” Kelly remembered. “I assumed it meant removing fat and extra skin. I was like, ‘Oh wow, OK.’”
While discussing the tummy tuck, Kelly suggested that she and Matthew, 37, are definitely finished growing their family.
“You don’t want to get a tummy tuck, lose the skin, and then get pregnant again,” she explained. “That would just be pointless.”
Kelly and Matthew are parents to twin girls Sawyer and Chandler, 8, Hunter, 6, and Tyler, 4. The two tied the knot in April 2015 after meeting at the University of Georgia.
Although she didn’t share exactly when the surgeries happened, Kelly said she wanted to be in the right place before doing it.
“You should do it while you still feel the need to be sexy,” she noted. “I’m not saying I won’t feel that again in 18 years. But getting older makes it harder.”
Despite her good experience with Dr. Fisher, Kelly recalled a bad one from a skin laser treatment before she had kids.
“I got burned all over my face and I’ll never forget it,” she recalled. “We had a ski trip planned and I had to wear Aquaphor and bandages. I still went out like that. We hit the club.”
When cohost Hank Winchester joked she maybe should’ve skipped the bars that night, Kelly replied, “I don’t miss out on a fun night.”
