Kelly Stafford, wife of former Detroit Lions Matthew Stafford, reveals plastic surgery transformation after having four children.
Kelly Stafford is opening up about the changes she’s made to enhance her appearance.
The 35-year-old podcast host is married to Matthew Stafford, 37, quarterback for the Los Angeles Rams. The couple shares four daughters: 8-year-old twins Sawyer and Chandler, 6-year-old Hunter, and 4-year-old Tyler.
After a decade of marriage and having three pregnancies, Kelly’s body has undergone some changes, and she recently spoke out about her “mommy makeover.”
On her podcast The Morning After this week, Kelly invited her plastic surgeon, Dr. Garth Fisher, as a guest. During the episode, she shared details about her recent cosmetic surgeries.
“I had my breasts redone and you also did a tummy tuck,” she admitted, mentioning she’d had breast augmentation before. She also said: “And you reconstructed my butt.”
Kelly said the surgeries made her feel “amazing” and “very confident,” although she also acknowledged the hesitation she felt beforehand and explained why she finally went through with them.
“You want to do it while you still feel that desire to be sexy,” she explained. “I’m not saying I won’t feel that again 18 years from now. But aging makes things harder.”
She continued: “People in California mostly know what a tummy tuck involves, but I thought it was just liposuction,” adding: “I assumed it meant fat removal and skin too, and I was like, ‘Oh wow, OK,’” before hinting that she and Matthew likely won’t have more kids.
Kelly noted: “You don’t want to have a tummy tuck, remove the extra skin, and then get pregnant again … That would be kind of pointless.”
Kelly has been open about her health before, including her 2019 diagnosis with acoustic neuroma, a non-cancerous brain tumor that can affect hearing and balance. In 2023, she marked the four-year anniversary of her surgery on Instagram, writing: “April 17, 2019. Four years later, this date still stands out. It reminds me life is short and should be cherished. And that in tough moments, I should lean on God’s strength and my loved ones.”
She told her followers: “Because how you react in those tough times shapes who you are,” finishing the message with: “So thank you April 17, for helping create the woman, wife, mom, daughter, sister, friend, and everything I am now,” along with a brain emoji and the hashtag “anwarrior.”
