Ex-Lions Star Za’Darius Smith Attends Prestigious Awards Event With Famous Girlfriend

The Detroit Lions parted ways with edge rusher Za’Darius Smith this offseason, a former trade addition, to open up reps for Marcus Davenport and several others competing at the position.

It’s still unclear if Detroit plans to re-sign the ex-Cleveland Browns sack leader, who performed well before the team’s postseason defeat against Washington.

On Monday, Smith was in the public eye once again, making a red carpet appearance alongside his famous girlfriend, a rapper and actress from Detroit, as the couple shared an affectionate moment.

“Who else is excited?” a TikTok user commented after seeing the stylish duo.

“This has me feeling amazing!” another fan responded on the same video.

Detroit native Kash Doll, real name Arkeisha Antoinette Knight, is a rapper and actress who sparked romance rumors with Smith back in March 2025 following the end of the Lions’ 2024-25 campaign.

Smith, drafted in the fourth round in 2015 from Kentucky, recorded 22 solo tackles and nine sacks last year, shoring up a defensive front hit hard by injuries.

A number of Lions supporters are calling for Smith’s return, though he’s also been mentioned as a possible target for the Buffalo Bills this offseason.

Detroit’s projected starting defensive line of Davenport, Alim McNeill, DJ Reader, and Defensive Player of the Year contender Aidan Hutchinson could emerge as one of the league’s elite units by season’s end.
