Michigan State’s Kaleb Glenn to miss 2025-26 season with knee injury
The FAU transfer will likely redshirt the upcoming season.
Michigan State men’s basketball’s Kaleb Glenn, who transferred into the program from Florida Atlantic this spring, will miss the 2025-26 season with a torn patellar tendon, per Joe Tipton of On3:
As Tipton notes, Glenn averaged 12.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and 0.6 assists while shooting 41.1% from long range in 25.7 minutes per game. He was a rising junior, having spent the 2023-24 season at Louisville, transferring to FAU last spring.
Glenn wasn’t likely to start for the Spartans, but he would’ve had a valuable role off the bench as a rebounder and shooting option at wing or power forward, having enough versatility to play either role in different lineups. Michigan State no longer has that flexibility, which will make things trickier for Tom Izzo.
The Spartans will likely need to rely on minutes from younger players to fill that role. Glenn’s experience made him valuable, it’s a bigger loss than it looks like on paper.
