Following the hit first season of Netflix’s “Quarterback,” the streaming giant is sharing trailers and snippets for the second season, which drops on July 8.

In a teaser shared by Netflix on X and pushed by the NFL, a clip shows Tom Brady commentating from a game booth. He tells his broadcast partner, Kevin Burkhardt, and viewers at home that he’d love to run the Detroit Lions’ offense.

The video quickly cuts to Lions quarterback Jared Goff, who’s also shown making big plays and celebrating with teammates.

“Yeah, too bad, Tom,” Goff shot back. “You’re retired.”

The debut season, which aired in July 2023, featured three NFL quarterbacks: Kirk Cousins of the Minnesota Vikings, Marcus Mariota of the Atlanta Falcons, and Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs.

In the upcoming second season, filmed throughout the 2024 NFL season, new quarterbacks will appear alongside a familiar face. Cousins returns as a new Atlanta Falcons player.
