Emotional Reactions Pour In After Jared Goff’s Wife Shares Exciting Moment with her husband

Jared Goff is set for some adjustments on the gridiron this season, as a new offensive coordinator will take over play-calling duties following former Detroit Lions OC Ben Johnson’s exit. Off the field, the seasoned QB is also preparing for a major life change, as he and his wife, Christen Harper Goff, are expecting their first child.

Harper Goff posted pictures of the smiling couple on her social media as they await the arrival of their daughter. “Just waiting for our girl,” she captioned the Instagram post.

The two began their relationship in 2019 and got engaged in June 2022. They tied the knot on June 22, 2024, during a quiet wedding ceremony in California. While Harper Goff’s latest post offered fans a peek into her pregnancy, the couple had previously revealed the news earlier this year at the 2025 NFL Honors in February.

Harper’s post was flooded with emotional and supportive responses. Fans left warm messages, such as sunday__gathering writing, “These photos are incredible!!! So beautiful.” michelle_lawrence29 said, “You guys will be the best parents, can’t wait to meet baby girl.” 313gridiron added, “Y’all are going to make such a beautiful family!!”

As a model and actress, Harper Goff is used to the camera, best known for being a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model. She appeared in multiple issues after winning SI’s Swim Search back in 2021.

Harper was actually on location for an SI Swimsuit shoot in 2021 when Goff picked up his first win with the Lions, sharing her emotional reaction from the set.

Since announcing their engagement before the 2022 season, Detroit’s fortunes have greatly improved. The Lions jumped from 3-13-1 to 9-8 that season and then climbed to 12-5 in 2023. After their wedding ahead of 2024, the team hit new heights, finishing 15-2.

The Lions have now made the playoffs for two straight years. After an NFC Championship berth in 2023, they were eliminated in the Divisional Round the following season.

Along with a new play-caller, Goff will also have a different center in 2025, as All-Pro Frank Ragnow has retired. Fortunately, Goff may have a familiar option, as Christen has experience snapping the ball to her Pro Bowl husband.
