It’s clear that Jared Goff has built a strong connection with his Detroit receiving corps.
The veteran quarterback heads into 2025 with a high-powered trio of wideouts — Amon-Ra St. Brown , Jameson Williams, and Tim Patrick — forming one of the most dangerous units in the NFL.
Goff and St. Brown have developed elite chemistry, and it shows. The All-Pro receiver has been dominant the last two years, topping 115 receptions, 1,263 yards, and 10 touchdowns in each. He also caught a career-high 81.6% of his targets last season, a mark of his reliability.
Williams notched his first 1,000-yard season in 2024, while Patrick provided steady production as the No. 3 option, tallying 394 yards and three scores. The Lions rewarded him with a one-year contract extension earlier in the offseason.
Recently, Goff gathered with his key targets at St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, California. Photos shared on Instagram by photographer Sergio Vasquez showed St. Brown, Williams, and Patrick catching passes and running drills with their quarterback.
I firmly believe timing and chemistry are everything for an NFL passing game — and clearly, Goff agrees.
With Goff leading the charge, the Lions are well-positioned as they prepare for what could be a make-or-break 2025 campaign.
