NFL quarterback Jared Goff and his wife, Christen, have celebrated the arrival of their first child together.

The Detroit Lions star and his influencer wife shared the heartwarming announcement via an emotional Instagram post on Tuesday afternoon.

In a series of black-and-white photos, the couple lovingly held their newborn daughter, revealing her name as Romy Isabelle Goff.

They chose not to include a caption with the post, instead letting the photos and baby name speak for themselves. Comments quickly filled with warm congratulations.

The pair had revealed they were expecting in February when Christen appeared in public showing off her baby bump.

She made her maternity debut on the NFL Honors red carpet, where she posed for photos beside her quarterback husband.

Christen and Jared originally connected on the celebrity dating app Raya back in 2019, the same platform gymnast Simone Biles used to meet her husband, NFL player Jonathan Owens.

Their lives were turned upside down when Jared was traded from the Rams to the Lions in 2021, leading them to leave Los Angeles behind.

They were in New Orleans attending the NFL Honors at the Saenger Theatre, where Jared had been nominated for MVP and Walter Payton Man of the Year.

That season, Goff guided Detroit to a 15-2 regular season before falling to the Washington Commanders in the Divisional round of the playoffs.

The pregnancy news came just days after Christen appeared in a stunning Sports Illustrated Swimsuit shoot, with Jared proudly reacting.

She modeled a dark-grey bikini during her photoshoot at Round Hill Hotel & Villas in Jamaica for one of the magazine’s features.
