Quarterback takes viewers inside the intense world of football, but the true MVPs are the loved ones standing by the players’ sides.

Season 2 of the Netflix series — which debuted on July 8 — gives fans behind-the-scenes access to the 2024–25 NFL season. It trails three quarterbacks — Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals, Jared Goff of the Detroit Lions, and Kirk Cousins of the Atlanta Falcons — through their lives on and off the field.

The show also peeks into the personal lives of the stars. Kirk has been married to Julie Hampton Cousins since 2014, while Goff tied the knot with Christen Harper Goff in 2024. Meanwhile, Burrow is reportedly dating model Olivia Ponton.

“I just want Kirk to feel appreciated,” Julie shared in the series. “He works incredibly hard, and it’s easy for people to overlook the pressure he deals with.”

Here’s a breakdown of the real-life partners featured in Quarterback season 2.

Kirk and Julie have been husband and wife for over ten years.

They were introduced through a mutual family acquaintance in 2012 — the year Kirk entered the NFL, per The Washington Post. He popped the question a year later, and the two married on June 28, 2014.

Together, they’re parents to two sons: Cooper, born on Sept. 29, 2017, and Turner, born on March 10, 2019.

In 2019, they created the Julie & Kirk Cousins Foundation, a nonprofit devoted to “transforming worldly resources into heavenly riches through extravagant generosity.” Their foundation partners with groups like Bethany Christian Services, Boys and Girls Clubs of America, and the International Justice Mission.

They also co-own Clearbrook Golf Club in Saugatuck, Michigan, purchased in 2022.

Jared first met Christen, an actress and model, in 2019 through Raya, an exclusive dating platform.

“We just clicked right away. They won so many games [that season]. I was obviously a lucky charm,” Christen said in Quarterback season 2.

Jared got down on one knee during a trip with friends in June 2022, and they were married on June 22, 2024, in Ojai, California.

Christen is currently expecting their first child together — a baby girl.

“I’m beyond excited to be a father,” Jared told PEOPLE in February 2025. “I’m eager to see [Christen] become a mom.”

The model added: “I know he’ll be the best [dad], and I’m excited for us to do this as a team.”

Burrow is said to be romantically involved with Ponton, a model and social media influencer.

Buzz about their romance started in December 2024, after Ponton reported a break-in at Burrow’s Ohio residence. He was in Texas at the time, playing the Dallas Cowboys.

“Someone broke into my house,” Ponton is heard saying in police footage obtained by TMZ. “It’s completely trashed.”

Police listed her as Burrow’s employee, but a source told PEOPLE that they had been “seeing each other” since early fall.

“They’re keeping things low-key,” the insider said.

In May 2025, Burrow and Ponton were seen together in Miami. Yet, when TMZ approached her in New York that same month, she declined to comment on the relationship.
