Kelly Stafford Addresses Co-Host’s Podcast Absence Amid Sexual Misconduct Allegations

Kelly Stafford, the wife of Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, has co-hosted The Morning After podcast alongside Detroit TV reporter Hank Winchester since 2023.

Lately, though, Winchester has been missing from the regular weekly episodes, with his absence beginning in early June.

“I’m aware TMA has looked a bit different the past few weeks,” Kelly said in the July 18 episode. “Summer is a lot — I’ve been traveling a ton. Hank’s handling some personal matters. Thanks for your patience.”

Those personal matters involve an active investigation into claims he made unwanted sexual advances during a massage. Police executed a search warrant at Winchester’s home on June 13, seizing electronics, according to Fox 2 Detroit. Winchester had been training in massage therapy.

WDIV, where Winchester works, placed him on leave pending the outcome of the investigation.

Though he has briefly appeared on the podcast since the claims emerged, he hasn’t resumed his regular co-host role. In his place, Matthew Stafford has joined Kelly behind the mic.

“Hank has spent years uncovering truth and helping the public,” said his lawyer, Todd Flood. “His visibility makes him a target for false claims. This investigation began and will end with nothing.”

Winchester and the Staffords became friends during Matthew’s Detroit Lions days, before his trade to Los Angeles in 2021. The Staffords started the podcast that same year, and Winchester joined in 2023.
