Quarterback brings fans inside the high-stakes world of pro football, but it’s the supportive partners behind the scenes who often steal the spotlight.

The second season of the Netflix series — which debuted July 8 — takes viewers through the 2024–25 NFL campaign. It tracks the lives of three quarterbacks — Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals, Jared Goff of the Detroit Lions, and Kirk Cousins of the Atlanta Falcons — on and off the field.

The show also provides an intimate look at the players’ home lives. Kirk has been with his wife, Julie Hampton Cousins, since 2014. Jared recently tied the knot with Christen Harper Goff in 2024, while Burrow is reportedly seeing model Olivia Ponton.

“I just want Kirk to feel seen,” Julie said in the series. “He puts in so much effort, and people often overlook the pressure he deals with.”

Here’s a breakdown of the partners supporting the stars of Quarterback season 2.

Kirk and Julie have been husband and wife for over ten years now.

They met in 2012 through a family friend — the same year Kirk was drafted into the league, per The Washington Post. He popped the question about a year later, and they married on June 28, 2014.

They have two kids: Cooper, born Sept. 29, 2017, and Turner, who arrived March 10, 2019.

That same year, they created the Julie & Kirk Cousins Foundation. The nonprofit promotes “transforming worldly resources into heavenly riches through extravagant generosity.” It partners with groups like Bethany Christian Services, Boys and Girls Clubs of America, and International Justice Mission.

In 2022, they also bought Clearbrook Golf Club in Saugatuck, Michigan.

Jared met Christen — a model and actress — back in 2019 on the exclusive dating app Raya.

“We clicked instantly. They won so many games [that year]. I was their good luck charm, clearly,” Christen said during Quarterback season 2.

Jared proposed during a group vacation in June 2022. The two were married two years later on June 22, 2024, in Ojai, California.

Christen is now pregnant with their first child — a baby girl.

“I’m so excited to be a dad,” Jared told PEOPLE in February 2025. “I can’t wait to see [Christen] become a mom.”

Christen added: “I know he’ll be amazing at it, and I’m thrilled we get to do this side-by-side.”

Rumors of their relationship surfaced in December 2024 after a burglary report was filed at Burrow’s Ohio residence. He was in Texas playing the Cowboys when it happened.

“Someone broke into my house,” Ponton said in police audio obtained by TMZ. “It’s a total disaster.”

The police labeled Ponton as Burrow’s employee, but a source told PEOPLE they’d been “seeing each other” since the fall.

“It’s casual,” the insider said.

In May 2025, the pair were seen out together for the first time in Miami. But when TMZ approached Ponton in New York later that month, she declined to talk about the relationship.
