Jared Goff’s Wife Christen Harper Warms Hearts With Seaside Moment Of Baby Romy

Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff’s wife, Christen Harper, recently posted a set of social media updates highlighting tender beachside moments with their daughter, Romy.

On her Instagram account, Harper—wife of Lions star Jared Goff—shared multiple stories capturing time with her NFL star spouse and their newborn, Romy, who arrived earlier this month.

“Time flies when you’re having fun!!!” Harper wrote in one story caption.

“Best month of my life!!!! Thank you romy girl,” she added in another, showing herself holding baby Romy along the shoreline.

Jared Goff and model-actress Christen Harper met in 2019 after matching on the exclusive dating platform Raya, beginning a romance that soon went public with a shared red-carpet outing at the ESPY Awards later that year.

Harper, who moved from California to Michigan to join Goff after his trade to the Lions, accepted his proposal during a friends’ trip to Mexico in June 2022, marking a key milestone in their relationship.

The pair married in a private ceremony on June 22, 2024, in Ojai, California, surrounded by loved ones, and have since intertwined their relationship with both personal achievements and public endeavors.

In July 2025, they welcomed their first child, daughter Romy Isabelle, celebrating online as they navigate NFL duties with parenthood and occasional appearances on programs like Netflix’s “Quarterback.”

When the Lions opened training camp this week, attention briefly turned toward offensive coordinator Ben Johnson’s move to the Bears. Rather than worry, quarterback Jared Goff and the team emphasized steadiness, expressing confidence that the shift won’t shake a squad coming off an NFC title game berth.

Detroit answered Johnson’s exit by bringing back veteran play-caller John Morton, who ran the team’s dynamic offense in 2022. Goff praised Morton’s return, recalling their “instant” chemistry and noting they’ve already started developing “creative ideas” to challenge opposing defenses this season.

Now in his tenth NFL season, Goff is embracing a larger role in designing plays. “I try to do a lot,” he said, adding that he feels more comfortable guiding game plans toward what he thinks will succeed on Sundays.

Privately, the message inside the locker room is clear: losing Johnson hurts, but Jared Goff and the Lions remain unfazed.
