Lions’ DB Morice Norris Shares Huge Update After Hospital Scare

The Detroit Lions and the wider NFL world are rallying behind defensive back Morice Norris. Norris suffered a frightening injury during Detroit’s second preseason matchup of the year.

Information about the incident and Norris’ first public message since the scare are quickly making the rounds online.

After being hospitalized on Friday evening, safety Morice Norris has now given an update about his health:

The defensive back endured a scary blow while facing the Atlanta Falcons, going in for a tackle early in the fourth quarter but coming off worse as his head jerked back, leading medical staff to hurry over to help him.

Norris was taken off the field on a stretcher and transported away in an ambulance as the contest was called off.

Thankfully, he managed to post on social media Saturday morning, assuring fans he’s “all good.”

“I’m all good man don’t stress it,” he said. “Appreciate all the check ins and love.”

The Lions also issued positive news after Morice Norris’ trip to the hospital, confirming he was conscious, responsive, and had movement in all limbs.

Teammate Terrion Arnold even shared a picture of himself and Norris chatting over FaceTime on Saturday morning.

The ex-Fresno State star joined Detroit as an undrafted rookie last season and spent most of the year on the practice squad. He was vying for a roster spot but has now hit an unfortunate obstacle.
