Per a report by DaveOCKOP, Liverpool and FSG “could be willing to entertain offers” of £35 million for Ibrahima Konate if contract talks break down.
Talks have reached a “nervous crossroads” with Konate seeking a major bump from his current £70,000-a-week wages to roughly £200,000. The report adds he’s been left ‘disappointed by Liverpool’s initial offers.’

Still, the French centre-back remains hugely important to the Reds – and he likely merits a pay rise after cementing himself as Virgil van Dijk’s key partner.
While he has had injuries and the occasional off day, Konate is only 26 and nearing his prime, so losing him now would be a major setback, with a new contract the ideal solution.
