Just days ago, a hashtag started trending on X, alleging that the Rams QB “died weeks ago.” The chatter first caught fire after Rams head coach Sean McVay sidestepped questions concerning Stafford’s health and practice status.

The viral hashtag was all it took for some users online to speculate that Stafford had in fact passed away and that the one spotted at training camp was a lookalike clone. Others went further, noting Stafford’s teeth seemed altered, which only intensified the conspiracy theory spreading across platforms.

Meanwhile, Matthew Stafford continues preparing for the Week 1 contest between the Los Angeles Rams and the Houston Texans, scheduled to take place in early September.
