I Could Tell He Looked Different”: matthew Stafford’s Wife Kelly Stafford Mockingly Dismisses Bizarre Rumor Claiming Rams QB Secretly Passed Away

Kelly Stafford, wife of Matthew Stafford, recently shot down the odd rumor circulating that the Los Angeles Rams’ veteran quarterback had actually died a couple of weeks ago and was replaced with a clone. Just days ago, a hashtag started trending on X, alleging that the Rams QB “died weeks ago.” The chatter first caught fire after Rams head coach Sean McVay sidestepped questions concerning Stafford’s health and practice status.

The viral hashtag was all it took for some users online to speculate that Stafford had in fact passed away and that the one spotted at training camp was a lookalike clone. Others went further, noting Stafford’s teeth seemed altered, which only intensified the conspiracy theory spreading across platforms.

Meanwhile, Matthew Stafford continues preparing for the Week 1 contest between the Los Angeles Rams and the Houston Texans, scheduled to take place in early September. The Rams are about to play their third preseason outing after winning their opening two. Still, Stafford notably did not take part in either of those games, raising some additional chatter.

Kelly Stafford, on the other hand, has returned to podcasting in her usual style, with co-host Hank Winchester also back in the mix. On his return episode, she and Winchester joked about Taylor Swift’s feature on the ‘New Heights’ podcast alongside Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce.

Kelly went on to quip that if Swift can wrap up a global tour, craft a brand-new album and still manage to bake bread, she herself should at least manage to cook for her husband. She has frequently opened up about the challenges of raising their four daughters, even admitting she sometimes turns to edibles as a way to unwind from the stress of her daily routine
