Other Kids Made Fun of Them”: Matthew Stafford’s Wife Kelly Talks About Daughters Dealing With Bullying Over Trade Speculation

Kelly Stafford, wife of Matthew Stafford, recently opened up about the bullying their daughters have endured at school because of ongoing rumors about their father possibly being traded. Kelly appeared on the ‘Sunday Sports Club’ podcast with Allison Kuch not long ago, where she candidly addressed the issue.

Even with trade noise surrounding him, Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams secured a massive $84 million deal. The veteran quarterback has been with the Rams since the 2021 NFL campaign and remains highly competitive. He also captured a Super Bowl victory with the franchise, and at 37 years old, is aiming to win at least one more championship.

At the same time, Matthew Stafford continues preparing for another season with the Rams, which is set to start against the Houston Texans. The Rams looked fairly solid in preseason play, winning two games while dropping one. Last season, Los Angeles made it as far as the divisional round but are hoping to post a stronger playoff run in 2025.

Kelly Stafford also recently revealed changes in her children’s behavior, especially with one of her daughters. On the latest episode of her podcast ‘The Morning After,’ she opened up about the situation and how it has been affecting her.

According to her, one of their four girls has begun talking back to her coaches and even chooses to walk away when they attempt to speak with her. Kelly admitted that she feels powerless in the face of these changes and truly doesn’t know the right way to respond.

Kelly has often spoken about the difficulties of parenting four young daughters. She has even admitted that she occasionally turns to ‘weed gummies’ as a way to calm herself after exhausting days. Because of her honesty and openness, she has received plenty of praise and support.
