Jordan Love’s Wife Responds After QB Earns Recognition Following Packers–Lions Thanksgiving Clash
Jordan Love delivered a standout performance in Thursday’s rematch with the Detroit Lions, helping the Green Bay Packers secure a sweep over Dan Campbell’s team in the regular season.
Green Bay’s offense opened slowly with only three points in the first quarter, but the unit came alive in the second and third, piling up 28 points. Love was exceptional, completing 18 of 30 attempts for 234 yards and tying his career-high with four touchdown passes, all while avoiding turnovers.
The Packers matched Campbell’s trademark aggressiveness and beat him at his own style of play, converting all three of their fourth-down attempts and finishing with 359 total yards.
Love Earns Thanksgiving MVP Honors — Again
Love’s big outing earned him FOX’s “Madden Thanksgiving MVP” for Week 13 — the third straight year he’s taken home the award, but his first time doing so since getting married.
His wife, Ronika Stone, celebrated the moment on Instagram, reposting the NFL announcement with the simple caption:
“Duh.”
Love himself was clearly thrilled — with the award, the win, and the food.
“To come out here and get a win on Thanksgiving, I’m grateful for all these guys,” Love said in his postgame interview, as he and several teammates helped themselves to turkey in celebration.
