Kelly Stafford Leaves Fans Laughing With Joke About Rams QB Matthew Stafford’s Vasectomy
Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford had a lighthearted moment with his wife, Kelly Stafford, during a recent episode of their Timeout podcast. Kelly opened up about the team’s clash with the Philadelphia Eagles, where the veteran quarterback endured plenty of hard hits and struggled to get back up.
It wasn’t until after the matchup ended that Kelly Stafford learned her husband had taken a painful blow to his groin. Instead of showing concern for Matthew, she jokingly suggested that the injury was God’s way of reminding him that he still hasn’t scheduled his vasectomy.
“I definitely caught my breath when Matthew was slow to stand after a play. He went back in [the game], thankfully, and later I asked, ‘Hey, what happened, are you fine?’ He said, ‘Yeah, I got my nuts smashed.’ I looked at him and said, ‘Well, guess what, that’s God’s way of handling your vasectomy since you’ve ignored it for two years.’ So thank you, Jesus. God has ways of handling things when you don’t,” Kelly Stafford joked on Timeout.
Despite Matthew Stafford’s determination, the Los Angeles Rams were blown out by the Philadelphia Eagles. The quarterback still threw for two touchdowns while completing 19 passes in the contest.
Matthew Stafford and Rams Set to Face Indianapolis Colts in Week 4
Up next, Matthew Stafford and the Rams will be squaring off against the Indianapolis Colts as the 2025 NFL season rolls on. The Rams are looking to recover after their crushing loss to the Eagles, while the Colts are coming in fresh off a straightforward victory against the Tennessee Titans.
At this stage, the Colts look much stronger than the Los Angeles Rams, having started the season with three straight wins. The Rams started well in the opening two weeks but faltered badly against Philadelphia. As Indianapolis aims to extend its winning streak, the Rams will be hoping to rebound and start one of their own following the tough defeat.
