Kelly Stafford Enjoying Her Break From Podcasting

A few months ago, Kelly shared with fans that she would be stepping away from her podcast, The Morning After, for an indefinite break. Known for speaking openly about mental health, she explained that she needed to pause and prioritize her wellbeing, though she didn’t offer a timeline for her return. More recently, she hinted that the hiatus may last longer than initially planned.

In a heartfelt message to her followers, Kelly wrote:

“To this amazing TMA community: I’ve been reflecting on just how grateful I am—for my life, for the chaos, for all the blessings, and especially for you all. Thank you for the patience you’ve given me while I sort things out during this break. I started this over four years ago with a cheap mic, no editing skills, and honestly no idea what I was doing. My only hope was to help other moms feel seen, because I was so tired of social media pretending everything was perfect…”

She went on to explain that she wants to reconnect with her “roots” and spend more time with her family. With Matthew deep into “one hell of a season,” she expressed her desire to be fully present for him as well.
