Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams delivered one of the best performances of his season in Sunday’s win over the Washington Commanders, but something other than his stat line ended up catching attention after the game.

During his postgame media availability, fans noticed that the Lions’ official social-media clips of Williams had a noticeable blur over the front of his hat. That small digital edit quickly sparked curiosity online — what exactly was being hidden?

The answer turned out to be surprisingly tame: the cap simply featured the word “SEX.”

While the team probably could have ignored it without much issue, the decision to censor the word arguably drew even more attention to it. Still, it’s clear the Lions opted to play it safe when it came to their public image.

On the field, though, Williams was anything but subtle. He hauled in six receptions for 119 yards and a touchdown, marking his most productive outing of the year. If he continues producing at that level, Detroit likely won’t mind a few questionable wardrobe choices along the way.
