Lions’ Terrion Arnold Delivers Inspiring Message After Injury Rules Him Out Indefinitely
During a Monday afternoon press conference, Lions head coach Dan Campbell announced that starting cornerback Terrion Arnold will be sidelined indefinitely due to a shoulder injury.
“Unfortunately, he’s going to be out for a while,” Campbell stated. “He’s going to be out for a long time.” The coach added that it’s still uncertain if the injury will end Arnold’s season.
Despite the discouraging news, Arnold shared a message of strength and faith with fans.
“God makes no mistakes, I’ll be back,” he posted on X (formerly Twitter) Monday afternoon.
He also uploaded a carousel of photos on Instagram, captioned: “It gets greater later…”
Arnold was carted off the field in Sunday’s matchup and later ruled out for the game. The 22-year-old had also exited last week’s matchup against the Browns with a shoulder issue.
This season, Arnold has recorded 22 total tackles and four passes defended, including two in Sunday’s victory.
D.J. Reed, the Lions’ other starting cornerback, was placed on injured reserve last week.
