Lions’ Terrion Arnold Denies Involvement in Florida Robbery, Kidnapping Case After Name Appears in Court Records
Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold says he has no connection to a Florida armed robbery and kidnapping case after court documents mentioned his name. His attorney confirms no charges have been filed against him.
Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold is strongly denying any involvement in an armed robbery and kidnapping case in Florida after his name surfaced in court documents this week.
Arnold’s attorney, Timothy Jansen, released a statement Friday clarifying the situation after a seven-page court order from Hillsborough County Circuit Judge J. Logan Murphy referenced the NFL player’s alleged connection to the incident.
According to Jansen, the lead prosecutor confirmed that no charges have been filed against Arnold.
“It has been confirmed that no charges have been filed against Mr. Arnold in connection with this matter,” Jansen said.
Court Documents Outline Allegations
The court order, dated Feb. 24, stated that Arnold and associates allegedly “decided to take matters into their own hands” following two burglaries at his Airbnb rental in Largo, Florida.
Court records say the stolen items included:
Designer bags
$100,000 in cash
An $80,000 necklace
Arnold’s NFL-issued phone
Arnold reportedly hired a private driver, Yan Lopez, shortly before the burglaries and later suspected him of involvement.
Alleged Confrontation in Tampa
Documents claim three individuals were lured to a Tampa apartment just after midnight on Feb. 4 — one day after Arnold filed a police report with Largo Police.
One co-defendant allegedly threatened Lopez with a firearm and demanded the return of the stolen property and phone. The victims’ phones and wallets were also taken during the incident.
However, the court order notes there is no evidence that the victims were involved in the Airbnb theft.
Arrests and Charges
Five people have been arrested in the case:
Boakai Hilton
Arianna Del Valle
Jasmine Randazzo
Lyndell Hudson
Christion Williams
Del Valle and Randazzo face three counts each of armed robbery and kidnapping.
Hudson and Williams are charged with armed robbery, kidnapping, and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
Hilton is accused of orchestrating the retaliation and faces six felony charges.
Arnold’s Attorney Rejects Claims
Jansen also denied claims that Hudson was Arnold’s security guard or that Del Valle is Arnold’s girlfriend.
“Both assertions are false, misleading and entirely unsupported by the record,” Jansen said.
He added:
“To be clear, Mr. Arnold had no involvement whatsoever in the activities that led to those arrests. He did not participate in, nor was he present for, any conduct related to the alleged offenses.”
Jansen further stated that there is no evidence in police reports, text messages, or witness statements tying Arnold to the crimes.
Arnold Maintains Innocence
Arnold, 22, was selected in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft out of Alabama and has started 22 games over his first two seasons with the Detroit Lions.
“Mr. Arnold categorically denies these unfounded claims and maintains his complete innocence,” Jansen said. “He was not involved in the crimes allegedly committed on February 4, 2026, in Tampa, Florida.”
Fox 13 Tampa Bay and the Detroit News were the first outlets to report the story.
